A study in reflection and tension, Duplicitas embodies the psychological dualities at the heart of the Bloom Break series, a visual meditation on mirroring, selfhood, and the uneasy harmony between opposing truths. The design folds colour and emotion into symmetry: deep green arcs cast shadow over the gaze, golden crests flare in balance, while mirrored red jaws lock in vivid opposition. Soft pink curves ease the geometry, blurring the line between division and dialogue.

Duplicitas, Latin for “double”, belongs to the Family of Mask Forms, where identity is refracted rather than revealed. Its composition holds two faces in perpetual exchange, neither dominant, neither whole. Emerald and ochre speak of logic and vitality; crimson burns with conflict; blush restores empathy. Together they form a conversation between halves that cannot separate.

In the Bloom Break archive, this archetype explores multiplicity, the way we fracture to stay complete. Masks, like mirrors, do not only hide; they multiply. The Double Face reminds us that truth often comes in pairs: seen and unseen, honest and imagined, one self watching the other from behind the glass.
